Gurinder Kaur Kainth, better known as Miss Pooja, has succeeded where many had failed: she is the Princess of the Bhangra Music Industry! She started her career in the late 90’s when she sang at Panjabi folk song competitions. She was revealed on Punjabi World TV Channel in 1998 and the rest of the story sounds like a fairy tale! Miss Pooja released many albums in India before she was adopted by the British audience. Her featuring with PBN – Aashiqui – pushed her at the top of the British Asian charts.
